My heater is not working what should I do?
AAs a homeowner you are free to do so. The drawback is that if it is installed incorrectly, damage to your homes wiring system could occur. This would make the repair costly, and could do serious damage to your system. The other drawback is that you have no warranty on the work, so if it goes bad, you will have to hire someone to come in and fix the problem which could be costly. This is one of our most common service calls. If the homeowner would have called us first, additional repairs would have been avoided.
My thermostat stopped working, can I just go to Home Depot and install one myself?
AIt depends on many factors from brand recognition, to sizing, and budget. We sell and install the top brands in the industry, and we service all name brands. One of our comfort specialists will come to your home, inspect your current system, and recommend a solution for you based on our findings, incorporating the homeowner’s likes and dislikes into the final decision. You can call MHS at (760) 744-9450, and we will come out and give you a free estimate.

I turned on my heater, but it is only blowing cold air, what should I do?
AYes, the state of California mandates that all homes should have a carbon monoxide detector installed. This is for the protection of you and your family, because CO is a colorless, odorless gas that can be deadly and harmful especially if you have small pets. If you do not currently have a CO detector, call us to come out and do a maintenance on your current system. This will accomplish two things: 1) Your system will run smoother and more efficient; 2) We will install a free CO detector for you while we are there, if you mention this ad prior to work being performed.
I heard that the state is mandating the installation of a carbon monoxide detector, is that true?
AMHS is NATE certified, and AC Pro certified and provides a one year labor warranty on all service work performed by our company. MHS is trained and qualified through manufacturers which allows us to sell their brands. Without these certifications, we would not be able to sell and install their products.
